In a wonderful evening, the tennis championship (Men & Women) concluded, featuring 3 competitions: the Men's Masters Singles, Men's Professional Singles, and Women's Singles. The competitions commenced on March 3, 2025, for the men’s category and March 8, 2025, for the women’s category, as part of the 11th edition of the Ramadan Sports Festival 2025. The event took place at Aspire Zone during the holy month of Ramadan on the tennis courts of the Ladies Sports Hall.
Mohammed Jao claimed the Men's Masters Singles title after defeating Yassine Harris in the final with a score of (6-0, 4-0).
In the Men's Professional Singles category, Ahmed Al Shami won the title after overcoming Alexey Smirno in the final with a 2-0 victory (6-4, 7-5). Meanwhile, Mykhailo Roshkovski secured third place and won the bronze medal.
For the Women's Singles, Venezuelan player Zoraida Motola won the championship after defeating Poland’s Hanna Albovich in the final with a score of (6-1, 6-0). The third-place match saw Sarah Ben Aziza claim the bronze medal after defeating Jaya Haddad 9-2.
The awarding ceremony was attended by Mr. Tariq Darwish Zainal, Secretary General of the Qatar Tennis, Squash, Padel & Badminton Federation; Mr. Sultan Khalfan, Director of Local Championships at the Qatar Tennis & Squash Federation; and Mr. Hamad Youssef Al-Obaidly, Executive Director of Communications and Public Relations at Aspire Zone Foundation.
Additionally, Mr. Haikal Al-Akhdar Al-Barawi, Head Referee, and Ms. Nesma Ikram Moharram, Referee, were honored during the closing ceremony of the tennis championship.
Los Galacticos Crowned Champions
In the Employee Football Tournament, which saw fierce competition among the participating teams, Los Galacticos claimed the title after a well-deserved 5-2 victory against Rahab in an exciting final match held at Aspire Zone Foundation's stadium.
Los Galacticos reached the final after a dominant 5-0 win over Aspetar United in the semifinals, while Rahab advanced after defeating Aspire Eagles 3-0 in the same round.

Mr. Ahmed Mohammed Al Hassan expressed his delight at the success of the tournament, saying:

Embassy Football Tournament (Teams)
The quarterfinalists for the Embassy Football Tournament have now been determined:
- Tunisia’s Embassy defeated Syria’s Embassy (6-5).
- Jordan’s Embassy triumphed over Malaysia’s Embassy (8-0).
- Algeria’s Embassy won against Mali’s Embassy (5-2).
- Somalia’s Embassy secured a victory over Qatar’s team (5-3).
- Chad’s Embassy defeated Spain’s Embassy (5-3).
- Ethiopia’s Embassy won against Eritrea’s Embassy (3-0).
- India’s Embassy overcame Kenya’s Embassy (7-2).
- Bosnia & Herzegovina’s Embassy dominated Indonesia’s Embassy (17-3).
- The semifinals are scheduled for March 16, 2025, while the final match will be held the following day, March 17, 2025.
The quarterfinals feature:
- Jordan vs. Tunisia in a highly anticipated showdown.
- Somalia vs. Algeria in another competitive matchup, both set for March 15, 2025.
Aspire Corporate & Sponsors Tournament
Meanwhile, the final matchup for the Aspire Corporate & Sponsors Tournament has been decided after an intense competition among eight teams, divided into two groups.
The semifinal results were as follows:
- Aspire Foundation defeated Al Awliya-RCA (7-4).
- Al Awliya triumphed over Asset Sector 1 (Ashghal) (9-2).
The final match is set to take place at 9:15 PM on March 16, 2025
