The 2024–2025 season of the Qatar Neighborhood League reached its thrilling conclusion with the final showdown of the Golden Square Cup – the third accompanying tournament of the season. This competition brought together the top four teams in the league standings in an electrifying atmosphere marked by enthusiastic fans and comprehensive media coverage.

The final match took place on Monday evening at the Qatar Women's Sports Committee, where the two qualified teams clashed in a fierce battle for the Golden Square Cup title of the Qatar Neighborhood League. In the semifinals, Al-Mayida faced a fiery challenge from Laebib, in a match defined by intensity and speed. Al- Mayida managed to secure a 2-0 victory, thanks to a well-organized performance and a high fighting spirit.

The final match began cautiously from both sides but quickly turned into an open attacking encounter filled with numerous chances. The game was characterized by balance and competitiveness, with several standout players showcasing impressive technical skills and tactical discipline.

Following the final whistle, an award ceremony was held in the presence of officials from Aspire Zone Foundation. The winning team received the trophy and medals, while both finalists were honored for their achievements.

Launch of the 2025 Qatar Neighborhood Cup
The excitement of the Qatar Neighborhood League continues with the launch of the 2025 Qatar Neighborhood Cup, the second major tournament of the season. All nine participating teams will compete in a knockout format featuring single elimination matches.

The preliminary qualifying round begins on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, with a match between Khalifa City and Onaiza. The quarterfinals will follow on Sunday and Monday, May 25 and 26, 2025.

The victorious teams will advance to the semifinals, scheduled for Wednesday, May 28, 2025. The tournament will conclude with the final match on Sunday, June 1, 2025, officially closing the curtain on the 13th season of the 2024–2025 Qatar Neighborhood League.

Qatar Neighborhood Super Cup – Next Season
To wrap up the season, the Qatar Neighborhood Super Cup 2025 is scheduled to take place, pitting the league champion against the winner of the Qatar Neighborhood Cup 2025. The date will be announced at the start of the next season.
