As part of efforts to strengthen institutional partnerships and support sustainability pathways, the Ministry of Defence has signed a five-year strategic agreement with Sports City Advertising Company and Sports City Projects Company, both affiliated with Aspire Zone Foundation, with the aim of reinforcing areas of joint cooperation and achieving mutual public benefit.
The agreement aims to enhance institutional sustainability for both parties and their affiliated companies, in addition to supporting the Ministry of Defence’s efforts in communication, promotion, motivation, and morale enhancement. This will contribute to delivering the Ministry’s national messages in an effective and impactful manner through fixed advertising assets across Aspire Zone, as well as the Torch Tower screen.
The partnership also includes showcasing and highlighting various activities and events of the Qatari Armed Forces, and contributing to the dissemination of purposeful media content that introduces the public to the Ministry’s vital role and national mission, while enhancing societal awareness of the values of belonging, loyalty, and national responsibility.
Furthermore, the agreement establishes a long-term investment partnership under a shared vision aimed at maximizing value-added investment opportunities through the development of high-quality and sustainable projects. These initiatives will support the national economy and enhance the efficiency of asset utilization, reflecting an advanced model of integration between the government sector and the investment sector.
The agreement signing ceremony took place on Wednesday, 7 January 2026, at the Sport Accelerator Building in Aspire Zone, in the presence of representatives from both sides. The agreement was signed on behalf of the Qatar Armed Forces Supply and Provision Authority by Brigadier Engineer Yousef Haroon Al-Ali, while Aspire Zone Foundation was represented by Mr. Ali Abdullah Al Mutawa, Chief Executive Officer of Sports City Advertising Company and General Manager of Sports City Projects Company, both affiliated with Aspire Zone Foundation.
