Aspire Zone Foundation hosted the “Green Engineer” tour organized by the SDG Ambassadors Program, with the participation of around 35 students aged between 13 and 17. The initiative comes as part of joint efforts to promote environmental awareness and instill a culture of sustainability among young people.
The tour, held in collaboration with the SDG Ambassadors Program, aimed to introduce students to Aspire Zone’s sustainable practices in the fields of energy Center, water Center, and environmental engineering, while highlighting the Foundation’s contribution to supporting national initiatives focused on innovation and sustainability.
The students visited several of Aspire Zone’s key facilities, including the Energy Center, the Park Water Center, Aspire Dome, and the Main Headquarters Building, where they learned about the sustainable engineering operations implemented across the organization. The program also featured a session with Mr. Haitham Mohammed, Chief Operating Officer – Sports Facilities Management, who presented an overview of the technical solutions applied in Aspire’s facilities to maintain energy and resource efficiency.
This initiative reflects Aspire Zone Foundation’s ongoing commitment to supporting educational and awareness programs that help prepare a generation that is conscious of environmental and sustainability issues, while reinforcing Aspire’s position as a leading institution in applying sustainability standards both locally and internationally.
