Aspire Zone Foundation has announced the organization of the Dukhan Bank–Aspire Dome Indoor Aquathlon Race on Saturday, 13 September 2025, in collaboration with the Qatar Triathlon Federation and with the main sponsorship of Dukhan Bank, bringing together wide participation from different age groups and both genders.
This event comes as part of Aspire Zone’s continuous efforts to promote active and healthy lifestyles across the community, while also providing competitive sporting platforms that encourage testing endurance, nurturing young talent, and supporting future generations of athletes.
The race will feature multiple categories, starting with youth (ages 10–12) and juniors (ages 13–15), up to adults and seniors (16 years and above). Special categories are also dedicated to participants from GCC countries and expats, divided into several age brackets extending to the 50+ category.
Distances will vary according to the groups, with the program including indoor swimming and running challenges starting from 100m swimming and 400m running for the youngest participants, and up to 400m swimming and 1600m running for the older categories—ensuring a race that matches the ability and readiness of all.
The start times are set in two waves: 9:00 AM for youth and female categories, and 4:00 PM for male categories, ensuring flexibility and inclusivity across the competition.
The event enjoys the support of key strategic partners, including: Dukhan Bank, Qatar Triathlon Federation, Decathlon, Qatar University, The Venue, Kinetiq, Rayyan Water, and Pocari Sweat.
Aspire Zone Foundation emphasized that this race represents a new milestone in its ongoing programs aimed at spreading sports culture, encouraging active community participation, and providing unique sporting opportunities that inspire passion, competition, and a powerful kick-off to a memorable season.
