In celebration of National Sport Day, observed annually on February 11, Aspire Zone Foundation is organizing a diverse range of exceptional sporting activities designed for all members of the community. This year’s event will feature over 20 different sports activities, held at the foundation’s open-air facilities in Aspire Park. The event aims to promote a culture of physical activity and encourage people of all ages to adopt a healthy and active lifestyle.
National Sport Day: A Day for Everyone
The activities will take place from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM, providing everyone with an opportunity to participate in sports tailored to different age groups and fitness levels. Organized by Aspire Zone Foundation, this event serves as a great opportunity for families and individuals of all ages to enjoy a dynamic sports-filled day.
A Wide Range of Sports for All
Aspire Zone Foundation welcomes all visitors by offering a variety of sports activities catering to both beginners and professional athletes in a safe and engaging environment.
This year’s agenda includes a broad spectrum of sports activities, ensuring there is something for everyone. The events will be held across multiple locations within Aspire Park, specifically on Pitch No. 10 and Pitch No. 11. Participants can enjoy various sports presented by the 3-2-1 Qatar Olympic and Sports Museum, including Junior Obstacle Course , shooting and archery, triathlon, hockey, basketball, gymnastics, volleyball, boxing, , among several unique activities Additionally, a skydiving show, in collaboration with the Qatar Air Sports Committee, will add an exciting highlight to the day’s events.
Aspetar’s Contribution to Public Health
As part of its ongoing commitment to improving community health, Aspetar – the Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Hospital – will actively participate in National Sport Day by offering a variety of medical and health-related activities for attendees. These activities will take place at Pitch No. 11 in Aspire Park and will include:
Free Medical Services: Aspetar will provide free medical consultations and general health check-ups, along with guidance on healthy lifestyles and proper nutrition.
Health Assessments for Participants: Attendees will have the opportunity to undergo health evaluations to determine their fitness levels and receive tailored advice for improving their well-being.
Workshops and Educational Lectures: The event will feature workshops and lectures aimed at raising awareness about the role of sports in injury prevention, public health, and the prevention of chronic diseases.
