Meras Seashore 3 event will host Calisthenics competitions, one of the modern training disciplines that relies on bodyweight exercises, on Friday, 6 February 2026, from 3:30 PM to 8:00 PM at Aspire Park.
Calisthenics is a training style that focuses on building muscular strength, flexibility, balance, and enhancing body control, without the use of equipment or weights, making it one of the fastest-growing sports in recent years.
The competitions will feature the participation of 43 Qatari athletes, who will compete in two main categories:
- Lightweight category under 68 KG
- Heavyweight category over 68 KG
A total of 8 athletes from each category will qualify for the final rounds, after which the top 3 winners in each category will be crowned.
The challenges will include a variety of calisthenics exercises, such as push-ups, pull-ups, squats, dips 40 KG, and muscle-ups, combining strength, endurance, and precision in performance.
