Aspire Zone Foundation today concluded the activities of Paralympic Day 2025, held at the Aspire Dome – Indoor Athletics Track, in an atmosphere filled with excitement, engagement, and a spirit of challenge and determination. The event embodied the foundation’s mission to empower all segments of society and provide people with disabilities as a platform to participate in sports activities within an inclusive and safe environment.
The event was organized in collaboration with the Qatar Paralympic Committee for People with Special Needs and Qatar Stars League, with the participation of more than 250 individuals from various schools and centers in the country. Participants enjoyed the opportunity to engage in a variety of sports experiences that enhanced their physical and social skills.
The program included 15 sporting activities designed specifically to suit different categories of disabilities and encourage interaction and teamwork, most notably:
- Goalball for the visually impaired
- Table tennis for people with disabilities
- Obstacle course
- Shot put and javelin
- Tug of war
- Parachute game
In addition to activities tailored for individuals with hearing, visual, physical, and speech impairments.
The event reflects Aspire Zone Foundation’s commitment to supporting Qatar National Vision 2030 by promoting the values of inclusivity and equality in sports and enabling all members of the community to engage in physical activity within an attractive and motivating environment that fosters social integration and strengthens the concept of "Sports for All."
