Aspire Zone Foundation believes that research is the essential foundation of outstanding player performance and athlete care, and works to integrate that research into daily clinical practice, in the hospital and on the playing field.

Aspetar

Aspetar is constantly involved in ground-breaking research endeavors. A highly trained health and medical research team utilize state-of-the-art equipment and techniques to collect data that can be used to optimize athlete performance and recovery.

The Center’s research findings are published in international peer-reviewed publications. The team regularly presents their knowledge at forums and conferences held by the world’s leading sports medicine groups and institutions.

Aspire Academy

In the Academy, The Sports Science Directorate manages an Aspire Applied Sport Science Research Program to increase the capacity for applied research across its diverse disciplines. In addition to in-house research, the Program is the vehicle for negotiation with potential external collaborators, as well as for the promotion of Aspire Academy’s innovative achievements.

Sport Science Publications

In addition to their core servicing roles, Sports Science staff have been actively involved in applied sport science research aimed at maximizing the performance of Aspire Academy programs and athletes.

Since 2006, the Sports Science staff have produced 75 peer reviewed scientific journal articles and have made 58 presentations at international scientific conferences.

These publications and presentations strongly support the Aspire Academy vision of being a leading sports institute in the world recognized for its state-of-the-art sport science services.
